How many are left for crunching to finish the 11th dimension?

In nov. 2005 1,19 % of the project completed

      But now ?

Actually, as you all know with the upgrade of the server to 5.x our mathematician colleagues have come out with a new algorithm that does an assumption whether the given interval will conatin anything useful or not, before it actually starts the searching...that gave us a little boost, so we are soon about to start the 12th dimension.

You\'re saying that we completed (ou soon) the dimension 11 ?? in 3 months 1/2 (since nov. 2005) !?

that\'s what the post says! I wouldn\'t class it as a big jump seen as though the mathematicians worked on shortening the process down.

              I\'m speechless ;)

that gave us a little boost
that gave us a super boost, i would say ! :)

What remains to be seen is was this tweak worthwhile.

Also what has been learnt from this study maybe Adam can reveal what has been learnt

I understand that for each dimension there is a finite number of WU to crunch. So could we have a permanent information on progress available on the statistics page, like in the section \"Improved S4 search progress\" of the Einstein project? It could be a progress bar or just the exact numbers and percentages.

@ Adam, we will need to know more ;)
Dimension 11 is soon completed, we will begin soon Dimension 12 but after ? (and when ? a approximate time is possible ?) Dimension 13 ?
Possible to know results of the 11. dimension like here :
                    http://szdg.lpds.sztaki.hu/szdg/statistics.php
What has been learnt ? (as Halifax-lad said)
No idea for a mathematical screensaver ? \"grin\"

I don\'t understand the underlying mathematics of the filenames, but notice that the 13th digit is always \"4\". Could this digit be an indication of the progression, as it would go from \"0\" to \"f\"? This would mean for dimension 11 that we have made something between 4/16 and 5/16 of the job. Is this assumption correct?
