          Not sure for this host.
The user has \"problems\" at least since 19 april.
I think that the benchmark has been run automatically several (?) times since this date.
Ehm and always or often, this message in the stderr out :
          Can\'t acquire lockfile - exiting
          or/and
Can\'t set up shared mem: -1

That would be useful if the user described in this forum his problem.

          edit :
          - I would try to exit Boinc that to start it again
          then
          - I would try to install Boinc again (even using \"repair\")

Why would running the benchmark solve the problem where the project client does not export the CPU time used? My boxes sometimes claim 0 too for valid results and I\'m very sure that it is not a benchmark issue.

I think it is rather a timing problem, like init_data.xml is not flushed to HD yet but BOINC already tries to read it or something like that.

When a result is restarted (from pause, even if left in memory), the file client_state.xml sometimes contains 0 values for time and fraction values for a while too so BOINC does have a problem there sometimes.

btw.: the user does not do a benchmark at all (option -skip_cpu_benchmarks) OR he might have a problem with some leftover files do_int or do_fp with no access rights for the user running BOINC.

The whole problem might be caused by insufficient rights on the BOINC directories.

He is from Hungary, Daniel Drotos, so there is a chance that he reads this.

His other boxes work well, this one is the only one with a problem. Probably it is a self-compiled Linux or a selfmade BOINC, he is developing Linux platform stuff and compilers.

            edit : he\'s even a staff member I guess http://www.sztaki.hu/people/008004392/
