Last week I try Akos optimalization on my historical PI/133MHz. I used version 1.1203. I have curious result of three WU - extra short time. When I come back to this computer on monday I must reset computer because it was frozen. After that I found three WU with short time of finishing. So I say myself that these WUs finished by error and I put back Akos opti 1.1201. Now I send pack of WUs on server and for My surprise all of WUs are valid!!! I guess that isn\'t correct.
    My three curious WUs are:

How have you managed to let Windows 2000 run on such a small pocketcalculator ? The result may be ok, but it calculated not faster than with the standard client.

      Greetings

On this P1/133 run Win98 but this PC isn\'t connected into the Internet. I send results from my other PC. Standard time of calculation WU on this PC is about 8 hours so a few seconds crunching is suspected.

In first, don\'t use the version 1.1203 but the 11201.
Then, do you get also wus with cpu time = 0 ?

Now I use 1.1201 but three curious WUs were crunched by 1.1203 and to my mind results of these WUs aren\'t correct, but their validation was OK and I got credit

            No, I haven\'t WUs with CPU time = 0

I could not see the results of your PI/133MHz, but i think sdg11203 gave good results. They are not perfeclty similar with the results of the original official application but it comes from the more precise calculations.

CPU time problem could be come from the operation system too.

Thank you Akos for your good optimalization, now I use 1.1201 and the defirence between 1.1203 and 1.1201 is on this historical CPU about 5 hours (cca 8 hours crunching for 1.1203 and abour 13 hours for 1.1201)

About your short wus, the best would be to know if you did these wus really in short time. I would say \"no\" of course.
But Windows 9x has a problem of cpu time (often = 0) with the Boinc core.
(the timer thread fails to start).
