I have tried using several types of browsers, IE, Opera, Mozilla and Netscape and I am unable to merge host PC\'s. Does anyone else have this problem?

You can have merging problems if you change OS or CPU or ... but the browser...never heard that.

I\'ll try to come up with a server-side merge of the hosts next week

Client-side merge works sporadically. I\'m guessing something got messed up when the problem with the duplicate hosts was running rampant in the first place. Most of the time, I get the \"bad parameter_1\" error when trying to merge hosts.

It\'s like some field (hostid?) is null or something, and the merge routine can\'t handle the bad values in the table for whatever field it is.

Any chance of just fixing up the hosts table so that we can use the merge function normally?

I think you\'re right. The form seems to to send nonsense for those lines, where the host is not selected for mergeing. So as long as you can select all proposed hosts from the top of the list to some old hostentry without a gap, it works. The first gap stops it working.
