I just wanted to ask when will we finish this project? Are we almost at end, or where are we?

    Thank you!

I just wanted to ask when will we finish this project? Are we almost at end, or where are we?

This is probably a never ending project. The original aim was to analyse binary systems up to dimension 11, as this was thought to be the highest level that could be processed in a reasonable amount of time. We are now processing dimension 12! The required time to process each supplementary dimension grows exponentially, but as the mathematicians of Eötvös Loránd University are constantly figuring out more efficient algorithms, our community grows, our computers get faster, who knows where this can lead us to?

And I remember having read somewhere that when they have enough knowledge about binary systems to make their theoretical background analysis, we can move on to ternary systems, etc.

By the way, a long standing wish of the community is to have a progress bar or progress statistics of the advancement inside the dimension we are just crunching. The scope of the project may be infinite, the task for each dimension is finite and known in advance...

Ternary systems ? you\'re not afraid, Robert ;)

        About the progress bar :
The idea is from... you ;)
Update information about progress of the project - a permanent information on progress available on the statistics page (progress bar or just the exact numbers and percentages)

I found the text on the site of Eötvös Loránd University, in the last paragraph.

Yes, true, but favourably received by the community and put by you onto the wish list, so I still hope to get it...

Progress bar is sure on the wish list, I didn\'t forget it and I\'ll do it as soon as I manage to solve most bigger problems.
