Finally, the evaluation process of the 10. dimension has come to an end. Let's go and check out wether Your computer has found something here.

Thank you Adam.
This is the first time a BOINC project inform the crunchers that they have done useful work for the project.
Could you tell us what we have found ?

Here is my transaltion, not exactly word by word, but you should understood the most interesting parts. Let's hope the official translation by the project will follow this soon.

A 10. dimenzió eredményei:

The results of 10. dimension

A 10. dimenzió feldolgozása mintegy 90 ezer db mátrix feldolgozását jelentette, melyekből összesen 383 db bizonyult további vizsgálatra érdemesnek a projekt szempontjából.

The processing of the dimension 10 included about 90 thousands matrices; from those matrices 383 is interesting for further research.

A három legigéretesebb mátrixot az alábbi felhasználók számítógépei találták:

The 3 most interesting matrices were returned by the following users

A 10. dimenzió feldolgozása során eredményt találtak az alábbi felhasználók számítógépei:

During the 10. dimension the following users has found interesting matrices.

Teljesítmény grafikonok: Hamarosan...

Performance graphics soon

Wow, JaiL! According to that You are not Hungarian, Your translation is perfect.

It will, fo' shizzle! And we won't forget to mention Your name on the English page as the translator.

Why not? Always could find a couple of moments to translate parts of the text. Except for the math part. It was long ago when I at last passed my last exam from math, and it was on Serbian. (Actually the linear algebra was the most terrifying exam - skipped a year because of it)

So, what's the difference betwwen "the most interesting" matrice and "the interesting" matrice ?

Not much! The only diff is that the most inetersting ones contain significantly more interesting intervals. The 'simply' interesting ones usually only contain one useful interval, but for example the one that has been found by Daniel Drotos contained 14 useful intervals, making it more interesting for us... :)

I'm afraid that now i ask for a "stupid" question :
Well, but an interval of "what" ? "grin"

Not that stupid, the question is! (Yoda style, rockS :)
I used the phrase interval, cause the application actually spits out part of a matrix that seems interesting. To be more precise, the characteristics of these matricies differ from others. And the characteristics is what we are interested in...

Ok, if I understand, only three matrices are very interesting because they have more interestings intervals. But, beyonds the 383 other interesting results, several matrice must contain more than one interesting interval ?

I would also say it's better writting (English?) to differentiate the two statements. Speaking of which... The 2nd statement should use the "have" form of the verb instead of "has".

;-) Skip
