    This WU ...

    http://szdg.lpds.sztaki.hu/szdg/workunit.php?wuid=2235786

... has been completed by 2 of the original 4 replications, the other 2 have failed to reply on time (surprise, not).

So there should be 2 new WUs sent out, and indeed the WU status shows that they should be sent, but they are stuck in the \'unsent\' state.

Surely the replacements WUs should have been sent hours ago?

My thought is that most of the people processing these work units are overworked with excessive WUs that they have yet to complete. Then once complete, you have the long term debt to be slowly eaten way before another Sztaki result is requested.

So, unless, we get new people processing these work units, expect them to be sent out slowly. We are all overworked.

That’s my reading of the situation as well. My old G4/733 just finished a task in 177 hours; the result came in four hours late, and nobody else met the deadline either … the WU (Nº2240925) now shows three “No reply” tasks and four “Unsent”.

All my PC\'s are set to NNW due to the inaccuracy of the initial downloads time of proccessing display. Until I know that a Wu will download stating that it will take 137 hrs, I will not open up to this project for quite a while.

Any of your hosts that completed a long task should now have a very high DCF; with some ‘experience’ BOINC can usually adjust for server-side underestimations of running times. And if they spent a significant amount of time at “high priority”, deferring tasks from other projects, chances are they won’t ask for any SDG work for quite some time anyway.

That is all true, but if the server sets an estimate of 18 minutes and it really took 138 hours, that is not an issue with my DCF but an error in estimating the original processing time of the current WU\'s.
I am happy to wait a month or so before re-engaging with this project.

I had one WU that took 232 Hours. I think that is the highest one. I have a bunch left so I think it\'ll be a while before any more come in. Especially since they are not resending any back out. I got over 200 of those, bad boy WUs, and the least was about 5+ hours, so there are some good one out there. I had to abort some in my hosts that have 10 day supply of WUs for all projects.

I could see not sending them back out for no reply but not for the thousands aborted by user.

Mine are asking for more now that the DCF is in line with the monsters. I\'m just getting 0 tasks. I think, it\'s time to let the WUs be sent out again. I thought the WUs were going to be fixed so not too many would be sent out, not no WUs sent out at all?
