    Guess ?
a page with the system requirements

We know that the application runs under Windows (9x, 2k, XP..), Linux and McOsx
    but
with what hardware (cpu, disk, memory) ?

That would be interesting (for many people) since the application doesn't seem to be very demanding

I also wish they wold transalate all the pages to English. Theres a lot of lazy people who dont want to sign up because it means making an effort to navigate there way around even though it is quite easy to do

          Halifax--lad:

nice question, there! Well, actually, our problem with determining the minimum hardver reqs for our application is that we lack any of old/slow computers. So, I'd say that any hardver that is capable of running Win9x should also run our application.
Actually all it does is a few (billions >-) additions, multiplications and divisions so I would say for the application even a Commodore 64 should do it, the bottleneck is the BOINC client. So, to be more precise any computer that is capable of running the BOINC client should also have the muscles for NumSYS.

If you like BOINC, you may also find CaretCursor to be appealing.

So i would say that my Amd K6-3+ /450 mhz running under Win98SE would "have the muscles for NumSYS"
I wonder how many time will be needed to finish a wu (?) :)

I have this project running on a cyrix 300mhz processor with 64mb ram. That is basically the only computer currently running this project since the others have been upgraded to version 5 clients and none of the other projects will run in that little bit of memory.
